HUGE OPEN BY NIGHT FESTIVAL AT TORVET

Friday, August 28, 2026, Torvet in Ringe comes alive with music, delicious food, cold drinks, fun for children, and a festive atmosphere. MIVI's café & restaurant and City Pub join forces to create a fantastic Open by Night festival - all of Funen is invited!

FREE CONCERT AT 7 PM
Mette and Gittes Duo take the stage with beloved Danish and international hits, sing-alongs, dancing, and high spirits. Expect a lively concert where generations meet, the audience sings along, and Torvet fills with celebration. The concert is free - everyone is welcome!

FUN AND MAGIC FOR CHILDREN
Ringe Handelsstandsforening provides plenty of experiences for kids:
• Bouncy castle from 12:00 PM
• Face painting with Spetaklet 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
• Magic Club brings 8 magicians

THE PARTY ON TORVET STARTS AT 4 PM
The bar opens with cold draft beer, craft beers, soft drinks, and slushies. RTD drinks - Ready to Drink - are served straight from the tap, plus shots in tubes with matching bandoliers.

WHOLE ROASTED SUCKLING PIG FROM THE GRILL
• Whole roasted suckling pig with buffet - 125 kr.
• Children's buffet - 50 kr. (for children up to 10 years)
• Sandwich with roasted suckling pig - 85 kr.
• Denmark's best frankfurter with 2 bread rolls - 75 kr.

UNCLE FLEMMING AT THE BIG PAN
Uncle Flemming stands ready in the middle of Torvet with steaming hot hash from the big pan.
• Hash from the pan - 85 kr.

EAT AT MIVI'S
At MIVI's café & restaurant, food is served both inside and on the terrace. Tonight's menu features three of our signature dishes:
• Steak béarnaise with french fries - 250 kr.
• MIVI's popular star dish - 185 kr.
• Wiener schnitzel with vegetables and braised potatoes - 185 kr.

THE PARTY CONTINUES AFTER MIDNIGHT
When the party on Torvet winds down, the evening continues:
• At the bar in MIVI's café & restaurant until 2:00 AM
• At City Pub until 3:00 AM
