Twilight - Purcell and his Fairy Queen

Arte dei Suonatori brings Purcell's music to Trinitatis Church in Copenhagen on Saturday, 29 August 2026 at 4 p.m. The Fredensborg Palace Chapel Girls' Choir, directed by Cille Buch, joins the baroque ensemble for "Twilight" - a concert featuring works by Henry Purcell and his contemporaries. This is one of three Danish performances the orchestra gives at the same venue. Trinitatis Church, a baroque building from the 1600s erected under Christian IV, provides the setting for forty voices and the baroque orchestra. Located in central Copenhagen, the church is historically linked to Rundetårn, which was built as its astronomical observatory. Admission is 75 kr.
