BBQ Seafood Championship - Løkken

BBQ Seafood Championship is a grilling competition centred on fish, shellfish, and local ingredients. This is the first time the competition is being held as part of Løkken Molefestival 2026, and the registration deadline has been extended to 17 August 2026.

The competition takes place on 30 August 2026 from 11:00 to 13:00 at Nørregade 9, 9480 Løkken. There is room for a maximum of six teams, and places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Participation is free.

Each team consists of four participants (aged 12 and up) and must prepare one complete dish with fish and/or shellfish as the main ingredient. Teams choose their own team name and compose their own dish. A panel of experts and local figures judges the dishes on taste, creativity, preparation, presentation, and use of ingredients. The audience can also vote for their favourite team and thus decide a separate audience prize. The final competition rules and ingredient requirements will be announced before competition day.
