Beginner DJ Course with Andreas Varming

Urban Music School is back with a DJ course for beginners! Starting Wednesday, September 2nd, the course runs every Wednesday for 6 weeks, ending Wednesday, October 7th.

Want to learn DJing? Never tried it before and have no experience? Andreas Varming starts from the very beginning and helps you build your skills step by step. The beginner course covers everything from basic DJ techniques to finding your own sound. You'll learn to use professional Pioneer equipment - the same gear you'll encounter in clubs and venues.

The course includes: how a DJ controller works, beatmatching, transitions and set building, music selection and developing your own style, hands-on experience with professional equipment, and recording your own DJ set as your first musical calling card.

Good DJing isn't just about technique - it's about understanding music, creativity, and the ability to create an experience. We explore different genres and DJ styles so you can develop your own sound. The course concludes with you recording a DJ set and gaining experience with the entire process of building and performing a set.
