Author Evening with Micha Hagfors

Queer Reading Club hosts an author evening with Micha Hagfors, who presents her short story collection "UDARTET" through readings and a Q&A session. The reading club's reading guide and safety guide lead the evening's programme, and Café Ordet provides refreshments.

Hagfors grew up in a Catholic family in Germany and came to Denmark in 1995. Her debut came in 2025 with the short story collection UKURANT - UDARTET is the second volume in the same series but works well as independent reading. The stories explore themes such as loneliness, homelessness, betrayal of trust, living as a lesbian in the countryside, an Afghanistan veteran's trauma, murder, Catholicism, COVID deaths, and inner healing processes. Most stories have an LGBT+ background.

Schedule for the evening:
• 7 PM: Welcome
• 7:15 PM - 8 PM: Reading by Micha Hagfors including Q&A
• 8 PM: Closing remarks and mingling
