The Ecosystem Underground — Munkeruphus, Dronningmoelle

Join researchers Flemming Ekelund and Nikolaj Lunding Kindtler as they introduce the 'invisible' ecosystem beneath our feet. This underground world is just as vital as the one above ground, yet far more diverse and complex. An ecosystem is a defined geographical area where animals, plants, and other organisms - fungi and microorganisms - work together to create their own biological sphere. The ecosystems above and below ground are completely interdependent.

On this evening, we venture into nature around Munkeruphus to explore a world where bacteria, fungi, tiny arthropods, and various worms play the leading roles, with certain earthworm species serving as keystone species. After the lecture, enjoy a lovely long-table dinner in the Greenhouse, prepared by Munkeruphus' skilled chef, Charlotte Nowak. The vegetarian buffet is included in the ticket price of 250 kr., which also covers the lecture and all-day entry to the grounds. Dessert and beverages are available for purchase.

Limited spaces available - register by Sunday, August 30th. Members of Munkeruphus' art friends receive a 10% discount.
