Misconceptions about immigrants and their role in society

Danes often overestimate how criminal immigrants are while underestimating their participation in the labour market, education system, and support for democratic values. In this lecture, lecturer Karen N. Breidahl presents survey results from two different studies that illuminate these misconceptions from various perspectives. The lecture discusses possible underlying mechanisms behind the misconceptions and their implications for public debate.
