Why Is There Health Inequality?

Professor Morten Sodemann from the Department of Clinical Medicine at the University of Southern Denmark and senior physician at the Immigrant Medicine Clinic at Odense University Hospital presents a lecture on social inequality in health in Denmark.

Social inequality is not a force of nature, but something we actively create through politics, structures, prejudices, and language. Drawing on the book "The Inequality Playbook", which Sodemann co-authored with Kristian Larsen, the lecture examines concrete and structural causes of health inequality - including our own roles in it.
