Birds of Freedom - A Musical Walking Performance in Nature

Frihedens Fugle is a musical-dramatic wandering performance created by Teatret Hakkehuset and Klassisk4 in Silkeborg. The performance asks: what does freedom mean - and what does it take to dare to fly?

The audience moves through the landscape and encounters a flock of birds along the way, who tell stories of leaving the familiar, finding the courage to choose your own path, and using your own voice. The birds' stories are woven together with people's dreams of freedom and longing to belong. Music, theatrical art, and nature work together throughout the experience.

The performance is aimed at both children and adults.
