Jette Torp - And There Must Be Knitting...
Hovedbiblioteket, Odense · 100 kr. · ≈ 13 €
Jette Torp has built this performance on a simple observation: immersing yourself in handicraft resembles in many ways singing a song or reading a book - yarn in your hands, focus, calm, and a sense that time stands still.
The audience is welcome to bring knitting needles (or a crochet hook). While they work, Jette Torp plays guitar and sings, shares stories from her own life, and reads aloud from books that matter to her. The programme features names like Anne Linnet, The Carpenters, Carl Nielsen, Ida Jessen, Marianne Fredriksson, and Stine Pilgaard - probably the first time these six meet on the same stage.
There is an opportunity to ask questions during the performance. The show takes place on the Main Stage, 2nd floor, at Hovedbiblioteket in Odense.
