War and Trump threaten - what is happening and what does it mean for us?

Trump's policies have weakened confidence in the USA and NATO and made the world less secure from a European - and especially Greenlandic - perspective. Europe's response is massive rearmament and increased independence.

We are entering a world where security weighs more heavily than economics. This puts pressure on the global economy and businesses: globalisation and just-in-time logistics are retreating, while regionalisation and just-in-case logistics with a focus on stockpiles and supply security are advancing.

In the name of supply security, Western countries and Denmark will bring production back home and support strategic sectors such as defence, green technology, artificial intelligence, quantum computers and critical medicines. At the same time, internal cohesion is under pressure in the USA, France, Britain and Germany.
