About Simon Kirk: Interest in foreign cultures and the very different conditions under which people live has always fascinated Simon, and his curiosity has led to extensive knowledge of history, geography and social conditions. As a tour guide and private traveller, Simon has travelled in large parts of the world, with a special eye for everyday life outside tourist areas. Simon has had a career in the education sector but is now a full-time tour guide for Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada. Simon is also one of the few Danish tour guides with a degree from Darwin University, which has certified him to guide without local guides in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.
