Giora Feidman - For a Better World

Experience the world-renowned clarinettist Giora Feidman performing new music for a better world. Giora Feidman, who performed the solo clarinet in the music for Schindler's List, comes to Copenhagen with his brand-new program For a Better World, created in collaboration with Iranian composer Majid Montazer.

The program combines classical traditions with Persian sounds in a spiritual expression that connects worlds - both geographically and musically. This will be an intimate concert where Feidman's musical virtuosity takes center stage, accompanied by piano. Over 250,000 concertgoers have already experienced his previous programs, and for over 70 years, Feidman has delighted audiences worldwide with his distinctive sound - from klezmer to classical.

This is the year's Rosh Hashanah Concert, an annual tradition of the Jewish Culture Festival held around Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. During the intermission, apples with honey will be served, a traditional symbol of hope for a good and sweet new year.
