Rock Talks: Gasolin / Kim Larsen

Rock Talks is a lecture about Gasolin' and Kim Larsen, told through words, images, audio clips, and anecdotes that paint a portrait of the band and the music behind some of rock history's most significant names. The story covers triumphs, conflicts, scandals, masterpieces, and the concerts that left their mark on both Danish and international rock history - including the many times Gasolin' performed at Vejlby-Risskov Hallen.

Lecturer Erik Jensen is a journalist, author, former music editor, and international culture correspondent for the newspaper Politiken. For nearly 40 years, he has written about music and interviewed many of the world's greatest music stars. He is considered one of Denmark's leading experts on Gasolin' and Kim Larsen, having followed them closely since the 1970s - first as a fan, then professionally, meeting, reviewing, and interviewing Larsen many times and developing a close relationship with him until his death in autumn 2018.

In 2019, Jensen published the book "Kim Larsen - Et livs sange", a personal musical portrait of Kim Larsen.
