Lyrical Theatre Concert: A Beautiful Day

The performance follows the course of a day from morning through midday, evening and night. Through texts and music from the past 400 years, the concert moves through the shifting moods of the day - from anticipation and vitality to reflection, calm and hope. Along the way, the audience encounters hymn writers, classics from the folk high school songbook, modern authors, songwriters and poets, whose words and melodies are woven together in a staged performance with historical instruments, readings and music.

On stage are actor and playwright Søren Ruby and Duo al Dente: Kirsten Lund Jensen on recorder and Per Weile Bak on lute and double bass.

The concert is free and supported by Vejle Municipality. Doors open at 14:30. If you would like coffee/tea/cake during the interval (30 kr.), this must be ordered when you book your free concert ticket.
