Nature Concert in Naturpark Amager

On Wednesday, September 16, the landscape at Sønder Pumpe becomes the setting for a late-summer evening of choral singing, group singing, and nature stories.

Ørestad Kor, conducted by Aleksandra Aia Bertelsen and accompanied by pianist Ida Andersson, fills the evening with music. Nature guide Jes Aagaard weaves it all together with stories about the area's nature and history, and the life forms that characterize late summer in Naturpark Amager. The programme centres on nature's cycles - wading birds, butterflies, storm surges, harvest, and autumn's first changes. Inside the yellow pump house, you can also see a small exhibition about the pumps that have kept the embanked landscape dry since 1943. The audience sits on the slope by the dike, which functions as a natural amphitheatre with views over the open landscape.
