Nordic Evening with Ørestad Sound & Science

Ørestad Library hosts a free evening themed around the Nordic region in collaboration with Ørestad Sound & Science Festival 2026. No registration required.

The programme opens with Nordic music performed by the local Ørestad Choir. Author Charlotte Weitze then discusses her novel 'Ulvemælk' (nominated for the Nordic Council Literature Prize) with librarian Laura Noszczyk. The evening concludes with a concert by 'Petersen & Ugorskij', where Danish/Faroese vocalist Katrina Petersen explores Nordic folk heritage through contemporary folk music.

Ørestad Sound & Science Festival 2026 explores the Nordic region as its theme - what it means to be Nordic, which values we share, and whether there exists a distinctive Nordic sound and vision in art and science.
