Partly: Wolfgang Heisig & Tan Lin
Art Hub Copenhagen, Copenhagen · 0 kr.
On 17 September, Partly returns to Art Hub Copenhagen with two artists: Wolfgang Heisig and Tan Lin.
Heisig performs Conlon Nancarrow's 'Studies for Player Piano' live - a rare sight, as these works are seldom presented in live performance. Heisig is one of the few musicians who plays them, using a push-up pianola. He has devoted his career to pianola music and to Nancarrow's work in particular.
Tan Lin is an author of numerous books of poetry and fiction exploring digital culture, plagiarism, ambience, distraction, memory, and paratext. His work has been experimental and widely influential for thirty years - particularly among younger poets with an experimental approach. This is his first reading in Copenhagen.
Partly is curated by Ed Atkins and Steven Zultanski. The event takes place 17 September 2026, 19:00-22:00 at Art Hub Copenhagen, Thoravej 29, 2400 Copenhagen NV. Admission is free, but registration is required via Billetto.
