Deep underground, two slaves toil at a furnace spewing black, oily liquid. Above them rules a tyrant whose cruelty hides behind a childlike exterior. In this claustrophobic universe, the slaves carry a dangerous secret - and when it is revealed, revolution becomes inevitable.

PANDEMONIUM - OR (DREAMING OF PARADISE) is a wordless performance where newly composed chamber music, physical theatre, puppets and film merge into a gesamtkunstwerk about fear, hope and the dream of another world.

About the venue: Teater Momentum

Teater Momentum opened in 2005 and occupies the former Flodbio cinema on Ny Vestergade, just across from Munke Mose park. The theatre is built around a rotating model: each season a new artistic director assembles a fresh ensemble and creates original productions based on a brief set by the artistic committee. The programme also takes in guest shows, dance, concerts, poetry slam and talks.
