Wailing Dunes + Royal Hinus

Two eccentric rock bands with roots in the same murky western swamp meet at Råhuset. Both have twang, but each with their own twist: Wailing Dunes unfolds in a theatrical rock arrangement, while Royal Hinus pushes into jazzy and outrageous territory.

Wailing Dunes is a theatrical quintet led by Sejer Villadsen, drawing on the occult and dark within a precise rock arrangement - with songs like Pacific Swell, Quiet Sonia and Turquoise Sun. Royal Hinus consists of Adam Peleg (Pacific Swell), Patrick Rathbun (Pardans, Gäy), Asger Overgaard (Gäy) and Öskar Dinesen (Pardans, Ecstasy in Order). The band draws on experimental blues-punk and pulls threads to country, jazz, progressive rock and classical music.
