STH - Service Dogs for the Disabled Dog-A-Thon Saturday 19 September 2026 in Dyrehaven, Copenhagen — Parkeringspladsen, Klampenborg

STH - Service Dogs for the Disabled invites users, volunteers, members, supporters, sponsors, family and friends to Dog-A-Thon on Saturday 19 September 2026, 11:00-14:30. Meeting point is the car park at Bakken, Dyrehavevej 62, Klampenborg - the area is marked with STH flags.

The day's programme includes a welcome, a joint walk to Eremitage Castle and back (choose between 5 km or 2 km on a fixed gravel path), plus a demonstration with STH's service dogs and service dog trainees. Volunteers bring cakes, and hot drinks can be purchased from a coffee van - your own drinks are also welcome.

Registration must be completed by 11 September. Bakken supports the event with free parking; a parking code for your car is obtained by registering it via the registration form. The nearest public transport is Klampenborg Station.

Practical: all dogs must be kept on a lead all day, and everyone is asked to stay on the paths, as the red deer are in rut. The event will go ahead in light rain, but may be shortened - follow STH's Facebook page for updates.

Participation is free, but STH encourages support with 200 kr. via MobilePay 15758 or membership at 200 kr. annually. The association needs at least 100 contributions of 200 kr. per year to maintain SKAT approval for tax deduction (§8a).

STH is a non-profit organisation with over 25 years' experience training service dogs for children and adults with physical disabilities. Read more on the association's website.
