Classical Percussion: Solo Concert with Malte Vendelby

Malte Vendelby performs a solo concert featuring works by Ravel, Nørgaard, and Xenakis, along with two of his own compositions.

"Antarctica" for percussion soloist and piano was written in 2021 and describes a musical journey across the Antarctic continent. "Four Impressions" for vibraphone draws inspiration from Holger Drachmann's accounts of the fisherman and rescuer Lars Kruse - the work premiered in 2025 at Frihavnskirken on Østerbro.
