Late Summer Foraging Walk

It's autumn, and nature on Fælleden is bursting with berries, fruit, nuts and herbs. Nature guide and forest ranger Jørgen Rye leads the walk and shows what nature's pantry has to offer in September. We finish with tea and tastings.

The walk is approximately 3-4 km and is open to the whole family - remember to dress for the weather. Meeting point: DR Byens Metro Station.

The walk is arranged in collaboration with Kulturhuset Islands Brygge and Solvang Library.

Fælles Frø is a shared seed bank on Amager, which you can find at Solvang Library, Kulturhuset Islands Brygge, Børnekulturhus Ama'r and Kvarterhuset. Here you can collect seeds of native species for your garden or balcony. In autumn you can harvest seeds from flowering plants and deposit them in the seed bank - this way we collectively support sustainability and biodiversity on Amager.
