DR Byen Metro Station is an elevated station on the M1 line, opened on 19 October 2002 in the northern part of the Ørestad district on Amager. It takes its name from Danmarks Radio's nearby headquarters and gives direct access to DR Concert Hall, recognisable by its blue facade. The IT University is also within walking distance, and the large nature reserve Amager Fælled runs alongside the metro tracks.
