Mauro Miranda + Cantares // Sonamos Latinoamerica CPH 2026

The festival's opening concert night, Sonamos Latinoamerica CPH 2026, features two performances at Union in Copenhagen.

MAURO MIRANDA feat. FERNANDO MASSINO
Peruvian musician Mauro Miranda plays a collection of authentic Andean instruments and performs his own compositions rooted in ancestral traditions. Argentine percussionist Fernando Massino accompanies him, bringing together ancient sounds with contemporary expression.

CANTARES
Cantares is a duo consisting of Venezuelan singer Nathaly Gómez and Peruvian multi-instrumentalist and musicologist Camilo Pajuelo. The duo was formed in Helsinki in 2017 based on a shared interest in traditional Latin American music and has since performed in Finland, Estonia, France, Italy, Peru and Spain. Their repertoire consists of their own versions of songs from a wide range of Latin American genres.
