FORRÆDER

FORRÆDER takes place during World War II, while Hitler has occupied much of Europe and sends millions of soldiers eastward against the Russians. Two Danish childhood friends, Karl and Mikkel, volunteer under the German flag - driven by a thirst for adventure and restlessness. What they imagine as a brief tour with victories and recognition turns out to be a nightmare: the reality of war and the Russian winter hit them hard, and soon they are fighting a merciless struggle for survival that puts their friendship to the ultimate test with fatal consequences.

The production was nominated for the Reumert Award 2021 for best script and is presented in collaboration with Nørregaards Teater.
