Københavns Drengekor opens Randers Church Music Festival 2026 with a concert at Sct. Mortens Kirke on Saturday, 26 September at 4 p.m. The choir performs under the direction of Carsten Seyer-Hansen as one of three Danish concert dates on tour. Sct. Mortens Kirke is one of Randers' two medieval parish churches, dating from the 15th century and built in Gothic style with red brick and richly decorated interior. The church regularly hosts concerts and services, providing an authentic setting for vocal music. Tickets cost 75-150 kr.

About: Københavns Drengekor

Founded in 1924 and granted its royal title in 1998, Københavns Drengekor is the oldest boys' choir in Scandinavia in the cathedral school tradition. Under chief conductor Carsten Seyer-Hansen, the choir tours Denmark and abroad each year, bringing choral music from the Middle Ages to the present day.
