Sylvester Larsen at 28 Live in Roskilde
28 Live, Roskilde · 120 kr. · ≈ 16 €
Sylvester Larsen debuted in 2002 with the album "Mandagsramasjang" - a Danish-language blend of pop and classic rock that earned several songs on national radio, including "Bekymre sig en anden gang" featuring Nanna Lüders. His follow-up "Små synder" brought him a solid hit with "Den evige stad", and a third Danish-language album, "Skal du være fræk", followed.
With "Shadows" (2011), Sylvester shifted direction markedly. The album moves from film music through synthrock to jazz, presenting him as an experimental artist - "Silver dollar" from the same record became his biggest hit to date. That same year he moved to Berlin for a year, where he wrote the music for "The end of dancing" (2012) and performed solo at venues around the city.
Tickets cost 120 kr. + fee in advance and 150 kr. at the door. Concerts at 28 Live are standing room as standard. Questions can be directed to bar28live@gmail.com.
