Peter and the Wolf. Ballet Performance with Organ Accompaniment.

Dancers from Aalborg Kulturskole perform Sergei Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf as a ballet production with organist Jonas Hellesøe in the role of both narrator and musician. The performance is directed by ballet master Helio Porcaro and accompanied by two percussionists from the Kulturskolen.

Throughout the performance, Jonas Hellesøe explains how each character in the story has its own instrument and its own sound - and how the organ can reproduce everything from violins and oboes to clarinets and bassoons, because it functions as a complete orchestra in itself.

The performance is for the whole family.
