Maya Ndiaye: Menneskedyr

Maya Ndiaye tries her best to function as an ordinary human - but it becomes difficult when fellow passengers at Copenhagen Central Station stick their entire arm up their nose, people clip their toenails in the sauna, and the dating scene apparently is full of people on unicycles asking if they can be your "dahl daddy". After all, we are the only species that buys extra cake while feeling nauseous because the boss has announced cutbacks, and calls existential panic personal development.

Menneskedyr is a stand-up show about the species homo sapiens viewed from the outside - about herd mentality, chaos magic, and the emotional hamster wheels we run around in, seen from the perspective of a woman who genuinely seems new to this planet.
