Masterclass and Lecture with Frejas Knit - Learn to Use Your Yarn Scraps

Knit designer and author Freja Hoffgaard leads a masterclass based on her book "Knitting Magic with Yarn Scraps". The programme covers techniques for matching knit tension with leftover yarn, combining colours - both bold and subtle combinations - and creating quick, durable and invisible knots for even, uniform results. You will also learn to use yarn from your own stash and knit something that fits your wardrobe.

The masterclass begins with approximately 45 minutes of instruction, where Freja demonstrates the techniques and briefly shares her journey as an entrepreneur. Afterwards, each participant assembles their own "magic key" from the yarn selection, which can be knitted into a hat. All participants receive 100 g of yarn and a hat pattern to take home. Bring your own scissors and a circular needle size 6 mm, 40 cm long.

The ticket is only valid in combination with a festival pass or day ticket to Kreative Dage. Kreative Dage takes place 23-25 October 2026 at MESSE C in Fredericia.
