Konradsen (NO)

Konradsen - the Norwegian duo of Jenny Marie Sabel and Eirik Vildgren - performs at KLEIN on November 5. Doors at 20:00, concert at 20:30.

The duo broke through with their debut album Saints and Sebastian Stories in 2019, which won a Norwegian Grammy for Album of the Year (Indie/Alternative) and was praised by outlets like Pitchfork, Stereogum, The Fader, Clash and The Line of Best Fit. Their second album, Michael's Book on Bears, was nominated for a Norwegian Grammy in 2025 in the Alternative Pop category - alongside artists like girl in red, AURORA and ULD. Live, they have sold out venues such as Kulturkirken Jakob and Parkteatret in Oslo.

For the KLEIN concert, they bring their new album Hunt, Gather. Work on the album ran parallel to composing original music for a short film set in the northern Norwegian village where Jenny lives. Ideas, sketches and field recordings moved freely between the two projects, and the album clearly bears the mark of this - from small sound collages of everyday moments to expansive, open arrangements. Collaborators on the record include Gia Margaret, Angie McMahon and Bruce Hornsby.
