A.S. Fanning (IR) + Nordly (DK/SE)
Irish singer-songwriter A.S. Fanning brings introspective indie folk and psychedelic rock, with Swedish-Danish indie pop duo Nordly as support. A night of textured, emotionally layered music.
A.S. Fanning is the stage name of Dublin-born, Berlin-based singer-songwriter Stephen Fanning, who has been building a solo career since the disbandment of his former band The Last Tycoons in 2013. His music sits at the crossroads of indie folk, alternative rock and psychedelia, driven by a resonant baritone and lyrics that circle themes of anxiety, mortality and fractured reality - drawing comparisons to Leonard Cohen, Scott Walker and Nick Cave. His third album "Mushroom Cloud" (2023) earned him Songwriter of the Year at Far Out Magazine, and his fourth, "Take Me Back To Nowhere" (February 2026), was recorded at a converted farmhouse in Sweden with an international live band.
A.S. Fanning releases the single 'On Your Side' and announces the B-sides EP 'Unbearable Miracle', which will be released on 19 September 2026.
Fanning returns to Ireland for his first Irish headliner tour in nine years, with dates from 24 to 28 September 2026.
The fourth album 'Take Me Back To Nowhere' will be released on 6 February 2026 via K&F Records/Proper Octopus and receives praise from, among others, RTÉ Radio 1 and CLASH.
A.S. Fanning performs on the German national television program Rockpalast (WDR) in June 2024.
