A.S. Fanning (IR) + Nordly (DK/SE)

A.S. Fanning is an Irish singer-songwriter blending indie folk with alternative rock and psychedelic music. His distinctive baritone voice and layered textures explore themes of fear, mortality, and uncertainty - acoustic intimacy meets subtle electronic details in a sound drawing comparisons to Leonard Cohen and Scott Walker. His album Mushroom Cloud was acclaimed in Britain and earned him Far Out Magazine's Songwriter of the Year 2023. His new album Take Me Back to Nowhere was written during a period when Fanning was housebound with a broken wrist, exploring disorientation and reality's unstable nature - inspired by sci-fi authors Ursula K. Le Guin and J.G. Ballard.

Support comes from Nordly, a Swedish-Danish indie pop duo consisting of AnnaMia Lindblom and Frederik Breith-Mortensen, formed in Copenhagen in 2019. They have evolved from a jazz and trip-hop-influenced sound toward music where Nordic folk and pop meet old school beats. The duo has released nine singles and their debut EP Den rastløse drøm (June 2024), and their music has been in rotation on P4, P6 Beat, and P8 Jazz.
