Alex Vargas (born Alexander Vargas Blay, 17 February 1988 in Hørsholm, Denmark) is a Danish singer, songwriter and producer of Uruguayan and Danish-English descent. He broke through as a solo artist with the 2015 EP 'Giving Up the Ghost' and its platinum single 'Shackled Up', winning Danish Artist of the Year at the 2016 Danish Music Awards. He has collaborated with trance act Above & Beyond, co-written Bulgaria's 2017 Eurovision entry 'Beautiful Mess', and released his fourth studio album 'VERTIGO' in March 2026.
