Alex Vargas plays VEGA in Copenhagen on Wednesday, 28 October 2026 at 19:00. The concert takes place on Vesterbro, where VEGA has been one of Denmark's largest music venues since 1996, housed in a protected 1956 building designed by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen. Vargas is touring Denmark with nine dates in total, and the Copenhagen show falls midway through the tour. VEGA's established role as a music venue makes it a natural setting for indie-rock performances, offering both intimacy and capacity for larger audiences.

About the venue: VEGA

VEGA is one of Denmark's largest music venues, housed in a listed 1956 building on Vesterbro designed by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen, who also designed the Radiohuset. Originally called Folkets Hus, it reopened as a music centre in 1996 as part of Copenhagen's year as European Capital of Culture. The complex holds Store Vega (up to 1,500 standing), Lille Vega (up to 500 standing) and Ideal Bar, with around 350 concerts a year spanning rock, pop, hip-hop, jazz and electronic music.
