Anna Hansen is an Icelandic singer-songwriter based in Copenhagen, originally from Leirubakki in Iceland. She moved to Denmark to study at the Complete Vocal Institute, where she later became a teacher, and has spent years as a backing vocalist for acts including Aqua and Jakob Sveistrup, as well as serving as a vocal coach on X Factor. As a solo artist she writes her own americana and country-pop material, drawing on time spent in Nashville, and has also written music for the Danish-Norwegian Netflix series Ragnarok.
Anna Hansen performed the song "Home" at Sommersang in Mariehaven 2025, and the recording was shared on her Facebook page.
The single "Home" was released on June 25, 2021 and was written together with guitarist Anders Bo Jespersen and producer Anders Borre Mathiesen; the song is about Hansen's decision to leave Iceland and build a life in Denmark.
