Anna Juul

About

Anna Juul (born 1992) is a Danish author and screenwriter who trained at the Danish Film School. She broke through as the satirical alter ego Veronika Katinka on the radio programme Den Korte Radioavis, and has since published several novels - most notably the autofictional Superskurk (2023) - that use dark humour to explore mental illness and a strained psychiatric system. In 2023 she won the inaugural Årets Sundhedsdebattør award from Danske Regioner and joined the board of Psykiatrifonden.
