Author Visit: Anna Juul

In her latest novel, Anna Juul examines friendship groups and the roles we unconsciously become locked into - including why being "the nice one" is the hardest position to occupy. The book explores the rise of therapeutic language in everyday life and the persistent question of who we really are.

At the library, Anna Juul meets literature facilitator Emma Kragh Mortensen for a conversation about the novel. "Sød tøs" is Juul's fifth published book. She is also known from "Den korte radioavis" on Radio24syv and DR3, where she performed under the name Veronika Katinka, and she actively works to break taboos around mental illness and improve conditions in Danish psychiatry.
