Axel Flóvent is an Icelandic singer-songwriter from the small fishing town of Húsavík on Iceland's north coast, who broke through internationally with his 2016 EP 'Forest Fires' - its title track now surpassing 90 million streams. Signed to Nettwerk Records, he has released two albums and several EPs blending gentle folk, ambient textures and Nordic introspection. His 2026 EP 'Fleeing the Shore' marks his first fully self-produced body of work, recorded in solitude at his home studio in Húsavík.
