Baby Did a Bad Thing
BABY DID A BAD THING performs its third album HOPE, blending folk, rock, country, pop and indie with organic arrangements and powerful melodies.
Baby Did a Bad Thing is a folk/rock/americana band from Aarhus, Denmark, formed in 2018. The four-piece - Jonas Fjelsted (vocals/guitar), Emil Overmark (guitar/pedal steel), Thomas Friis (bass) and Casper Simonsen (drums) - released their third album, Hope, in 2025 to four-star reviews from GAFFA. They gained nationwide recognition partly through Tour de France winner Jonas Vingegaard publicly naming them among his favourite bands.
GAFFA reviewed HOPE with four stars and described it as an album that cements the band's position on the Danish americana scene.
The band performed at Smukfest in Skanderborg in August 2025.
Baby Did a Bad Thing played at Fanø Vesterland Festival in 2025 and participated in Anders Aggers live-interview concept at the festival.
The album HOPE was released in 2025 - over half of the songs received airplay on DR's radio stations.
The band released the single "Looks Like Rain" in September 2024 as a precursor to the upcoming album HOPE.
