Viruphuset is a community culture and sports centre in the village of Hjortshøj, just north of Aarhus. Spread across 2,500 square metres on two floors, it holds a large hall with gymnastics and trampoline facilities, a fitness centre, a dedicated concert hall, and Café V. The building was funded and is run by local volunteers in partnership with Aarhus Municipality, and as a grant-supported music venue it puts on 10-20 concerts a year in collaboration with Voxhall.
