About

Barselona is a Danish indie-pop/rock duo formed in 2016 by Rud Aslak and Rasmus Theodor, who met at Ollerup Efterskole in Funen. They debuted at 16 with Danish-language songs and released two albums simultaneously in 2019 before breaking through with their critically acclaimed fourth album 'Væbnet Hjerte' (2023), which reviewers called a "portrait of a generation" and the band's best work to date. For live shows, the duo expands to a five-piece with three friends from their school days.

    Barselona is going on a nationwide tour in autumn 2026 with stops at, among others, Store VEGA in Copenhagen and Train in Aarhus.

    Barselona founded their own record label, RRekord, and released the single 'Udsving' on February 20 - the same day P3 chose it as Unavoidable.
