Benny Benassi, born Marco Benassi on 13 July 1967 in Milan and raised in Reggio Emilia, is an Italian DJ and producer widely credited as a pioneer of electro house. His 2002 single "Satisfaction" broke across Europe and defined a generation of club music. He has since won Grammy Awards for his remix of Public Enemy's "Bring the Noise" and for "Cinema" with Gary Go - the latter via Skrillex's version - and has worked with artists including Madonna, Chris Brown and John Legend.
