Beverly Glenn-Copeland is an American-born Canadian singer, songwriter and composer, born in Philadelphia in 1944. His music moves freely between folk, jazz, ambient and electronic sounds - most famously on the 1986 cassette album "Keyboard Fantasies", self-released in just 200 copies and rediscovered by a new generation decades later. His most recent studio album, "Laughter in Summer" (2026), was made with his wife Elizabeth Glenn-Copeland while he navigates a dementia diagnosis. Glenn-Copeland publicly identifies as a trans man and has been an outspoken advocate for transgender rights.
