About the venue: Alice

ALICE is a regional music venue in Nørrebro, formed in 2018 from the merger of the former venues Global and Jazzhouse. Named after American jazz pianist and composer Alice Coltrane, it focuses on music that rarely finds space on Danish stages - from global roots, folk and jazz/improv to sound art, new composed music, metal and electronic experiments. The venue also stages concerts at external locations such as Marmorkirken and Glyptoteket.

About: Beverly Glenn-Copeland

Born in Philadelphia in 1944 and based in Canada for most of his life, Beverly Glenn-Copeland has built a catalogue stretching from early jazz-folk to self-recorded synthesizer ambient - with "Keyboard Fantasies" (1986) as the album that put him on the world map when it was rediscovered online in the 2010s. His latest record "Laughter in Summer" (2026), made with his wife Elizabeth, is an intimate reflection on a life in music.
