A Tribute To Louis Armstrong feat. Björn Ingelstam
Dizzy Bird Big Band celebrates Louis Armstrong with Swedish trumpeter Björn Ingelstam as featured soloist in an evening of jazz classics.
Björn Ingelstam (born 1990) is a Swedish trumpeter and singer who has played jazz clubs across Europe since his teens. He moved to New York in 2013 and to Paris in 2019, and now tours internationally both with his own quartet and as a solo artist. His style draws on the jazz tradition of the 1950s and '60s - with Louis Armstrong as a key reference - while carrying a distinctly modern touch.
Björn Ingelstam performs with two sets at 38Riv Jazz Club in Paris on July 31, 2026.
ABC Radio in Australia introduced Ingelstam to a new audience in the program 'The Dinner Set' with focus on his debut album.
Ingelstam played two concerts in Brussels with his quartet under the program title 'Songs from Broadway' at The Music Village.
Ingelstam performed as a guest with Chris Tanner Trio at Charlie Scott's in Copenhagen during Copenhagen Winter Jazz on February 24, 2026.
Ingelstam played with pianist Franck Amsallem at Maison des Étudiants Suédois in Paris on February 5, 2026.
