Carl Zinssou is a Danish pianist and composer who leads Zinssou Quartet, a modern jazz group that puts piano and cello at the centre of a sound drawing on Nordic tradition, chamber music, and expressive New York jazz. The quartet, active since 2021, released their debut EP "Et ungdomstestamente" in August 2024 and won the national Jazzkonkurrencen organised by Jazz Danmark in May 2025, before a record-breaking crowd in Kolding. A debut full-length album is expected in 2026.
