About

Chris Andersen is a Danish blues singer and guitarist from Skagen who runs his own smithy, Skagen Smede Service, as his day job. He plays acoustic fingerpicking blues in the light, ragtime-rooted Piedmont style and has released two albums on Straight Shooter Records: debut "Hammer Blues" (2019) and follow-up "Gone Fishin'" (2023). His musical path was shaped by a long friendship with blues veteran Troels Jensen, and he regularly performs in a duo with pianist Johannes Aaen.
