Christian Friis (born 1972) holds a master's degree in the history of ideas and Indian studies from Aarhus University, and works as a teacher and tour leader at Askov Højskole. Over many years he has given hundreds of lectures across Denmark - at folk high schools, libraries, adult education centres and associations - covering topics from Danish emigration history to art, music and literature. He also chairs Grundtvigsk Forum Askov and sits on the board of Vejen Folkeuniversitet.
Friis is listed as tour leader for an upcoming opera trip to Vienna (Tosca) with Albatros Travel in 2026.
